The full entry list for the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual, the final round of the Le Mans Virtual Series, has been announced by organisers, Motorsport Games. This star-studded event takes place over January 15th and 16th, and its line-up underlines the global fascination with all aspects of the world’s most iconic endurance race.
A truly spectacular roster of drivers includes newly crowned F1 World Champion, Max Verstappen, 2021 IndyCar Champion, Alex Palou, plus Juan Pablo Montoya and as the non-driving captain of the Alpine Esports team, the legendary Fernando Alonso.
In terms of teams, prominent amongst the 50 taking part, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports will make its debut, alongside the esports divisions of F1’s Alpine, Williams and Red Bull Racing. These huge motorsport brands will also be joined by a team from the all-female motorsport W Series and established SIM racers Team Redline, Veloce Esports and R8G Esports.
The prize pool for this event is $125,000 with prominent supporters including watchmaker Rolex and SIM racing peripherals manufacturer, Thrustmaster.
