Clover Link Elements© XL will make its global debut at G2E Las Vegas, bringing a larger game format, expanded content and greater configuration flexibility to APEX’s linked progressive portfolio.

Clover Link Elements XL will appear alongside the new LED DISPLAY 3XL and ASUP49J monitors, creating a complete jackpot installation designed for casino-floor visibility and player engagement.

Sonya Nikolova, International Sales Manager at APEX, says the product was shaped by Clover Link’s international performance and feedback from EMEA operators.

GGN: Clover Link has established a strong international performance record. How has this success shaped Clover Link Elements XL?

Sonya Nikolova: We were among the first European gaming equipment manufacturers to combine a linked progressive jackpot theme with a multigame platform. Clover Link introduced flexible presets, multilevel jackpot configurations, Jackpot Win Share and opportunities to win double or triple jackpot values.

Clover Link Elements built on this concept with 22 games combining three-pot mechanics, bestselling multiline titles and multilevel jackpot prizes. Independent analysis from Eilers & Krejcik Gaming-Fantini Research has shown Clover Link Multigame performing at approximately 1.5x the house average across EMEA and North America.

This performance established a strong commercial foundation, while four leading titles inspired Clover Link Elements XL.

GGN: What will operators see when Clover Link Elements XL makes its global premiere at G2E?

SN: Clover Link Elements XL brings together 28 games, with Clover Inferno XL, Clover Twist XL, Clover Tomb XL and Clover Wave XL at the centre of the mix.

The four titles retain the identity and mechanics of the originals while moving to a 5×4 reel layout with 1,024 ways to win. The expanded window gives the features more room to develop and creates a richer presentation. During the jackpot feature, the visible symbol area expands from 5×3 to 5×8, increasing the scale and visual impact of bonus play.

GGN: How is Clover Link Elements XL responding to changing player expectations?

SN: Players increasingly expect feature-rich entertainment and opportunities to pursue jackpot prizes across different staking levels. Mystery and linked progressive mechanics, together with scalable multilevel configurations and linear bet-step presets, allow operators to tailor the experience to different player groups.

Jackpot Win Share adds a social dimension, turning the pursuit of a maximum prize into a journey through different features, jackpot levels and reward opportunities.

Innovation within iGaming is influencing land-based expectations, particularly the integration of different winning concepts, mechanics and layouts. Our research and development teams translate mathematical models into recognisable gameplay patterns for different player profiles.

GGN: How can operators configure Clover Link Elements XL, and what does the LED DISPLAY 3XL add to the installation?

SN: Operators can tailor Clover Link Elements XL to local market conditions, player profiles, promotional campaigns and casino-floor layouts. Options include game mixes, denominations, portrait cabinet formats, jackpot arrangements and the number of connected machines.

Jackpot settings can be aligned with the intended performance of each group, giving every island its own character, pace and revenue potential.

The LED DISPLAY 3XL uses immersive attraction and celebration modes to enhance the visibility and identity of an island. Different configurations accommodate specific machines, venue layouts and budgets. Combined with the APEX Special Upright 49J curved monitors, it creates a prominent gaming destination offering greater comfort, privacy and exclusivity.

GGN: How has feedback from EMEA markets influenced Clover Link Elements XL, and where do you see the strongest opportunities?

SN: Europe, the Middle East and Africa encompass very different gaming cultures and entertainment preferences. Operator feedback gives our development teams insight into player behaviour across casino jurisdictions, resort destinations and gaming clubs.

Demand for fruit games, adventure themes, classic and evergreen titles, mythology and leisure-based concepts has influenced our storylines, visual design, mechanics and jackpot configurations.

We have an established performance record across Western, Central and South-Eastern Europe. We see great opportunities in Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain and Germany, the Balkan markets including Croatia and Montenegro, together with the North African and Sub-Saharan markets, where the brand is popular, and Clover Link produces high GGRs. Compliance and homologation requirements determine the timetable for each jurisdiction.

GGN: How does APEX’s integrated product and support model benefit operators?

SN: We provide electronic and live table gaming solutions for casinos, gaming arcades and street markets. Operators can source platforms, cabinets, jackpot displays and supporting equipment through one supplier, reducing the cost and complexity of working with multiple manufacturers.

We test proprietary products within our operational network, assessing performance and player response before wider deployment. Operators can introduce new products with greater confidence and a clearer understanding of their commercial potential.

Our teams monitor feedback and key performance indicators after installation. Support covers configuration, content updates, technical service, spare parts, currency and settings customisation and game-mix optimisation. We also develop tailored solutions for special events, tourism-driven destinations and junket-oriented zones.

GGN: What can visitors expect from APEX at G2E?

SN: Clover Link Elements XL will take centre stage in Las Vegas, demonstrating how far Clover Link has developed while retaining the identity behind the original games.

Visitors to the APEX stand will also be among the first to preview Clover Link Masters of Elements. We are excited to present the new platform alongside Clover Link Elements XL and give the industry an early look at another major development within our portfolio.

APEX by name is APEX by nature. We are always working towards the next pinnacle in gaming while keeping operators and players at the centre of our development. G2E will bring that ambition to life across our latest products.
