Aristocrat to acquire NeoGames for $1.2bn

Aristocrat Leisure has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire NeoGames for around $1.2bn.

The agreement has been unanimously approved by the Board of NeoGames, with shareholders holding around 60% of NeoGames shares, have entered into an agreement with Aristocrat supporting the deal.

NeoGames is the parent company of several exciting entities, including Aspire Global, BtoBet, aggregator Pariplay and developer, Wizard Games, and Chairman John E. Taylor Jr said: “The NeoGames team has built a great company with a strong platform and differentiated assets, and we are pleased that Aristocrat recognises the value we have created as a leader across iLottery, iGaming and online sports betting.”

Trevor Croker, Aristocrat’s CEO & Managing Director, adds: “Through the acquisition of NeoGames and its industry-leading global online RMG platform, this transaction will deliver on our strategy by providing a portfolio of end-to-end solutions for iGaming, iLottery and online sports betting operators globally.”

It is anticipated that subject to standard conditions and approvals, this acquisition will complete within 12 months.
