BETER, leading provider of fast-betting content, data and live streaming for esports and sports, has been honoured with the Gold Standard Accreditation by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).

This accolade is the highest level of recognition ESIC offers for esports betting products, marking a significant achievement for BETER, which was also named a Tier-1 Anti-Corruption Supporter earlier this year.

The Gold Standard Accreditation follows a thorough audit process, underscoring BETER’s steadfast dedication to fair play and integrity in its ESportsBattle tournaments, which host over 36,000 events monthly.

ESIC’s Gold Standard provides a framework for best practices, ensuring tournaments operate with maximum integrity and safety, a level only a select few organisations worldwide have achieved.

The audit assessed critical components, including governance, educational initiatives, physical security and compliance with ESIC’s guidelines.

BETER’s Integrity team implements extensive measures such as mandatory e-learning, a 24/7 whistleblowing platform and collaborations with law enforcement, resulting in less than 0.01% of events being flagged as suspicious over the past year.

Andrii Nekrutov, BETER’s Chief Integrity Officer, hailed the accreditation as a “major milestone” reflecting the organisation’s commitment to fair play. He emphasised BETER’s leading role in esports betting content and its unrivalled educational programmes.

Stephen Hanna, CEO of ESIC, stated: “BETER joins a prestigious group of esports content providers who meet the exceptionally high standards required for ESIC Gold Standard Accreditation.

“This recognition is for those committed to eradicating match-fixing and promoting transparency in esports.”
