According to local media reports, the new Castle Casino in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, opened over the weekend of December 17th/18th.

The Principality of Liechtenstein is Europe’s fourth smallest country, occupying just 160sqkm and having a population of less than 40,000. However, it has long occupied a strong position in the global financial community, and is also a popular tourist destination, hence it now has five casinos.

The Castle Casino is a new-build property, on the site of the former Hotel Real. Its gaming facilities include 120 slots and eight live tables. The new venture is managed by Michael Moosleitner and Thomas Banzer, both previously with Casinos Austria in Liechtenstein, and Eros Ganzina, previously Gaming Manager at the nearby Grand Casino in Bendern.
