FaZe Clan esports business unveils new Board of Directors

High profile North American esports organisation FaZe Clan has announced the 10 Directors that will comprise its new public Board, and this list includes co-founder and CEO, Lee Trink, WWE Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon and rapper, actor and entrepreneur, Snoop Dogg

A statement from the company says that the new Board will become effective following completion of the organisation’s planned merger with B. Riley Principal 150 Merger Corporation, which is expected to close in the first half of this year.

Lee Trink, who will serve as Chairman, has been FaZe Clan’s CEO since 2018. Stephanie McMahon has been on the Board of WWE, and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation since 2015, and is responsible for building the WWE brand throughout the world. Snoop, who joined FaZe Clan earlier this month, will sit on the new Board and will also be a content creator and member of the FaZe Clan talent network.

Others joining the Board are Angela Dalton, Founder and CEO of broker company Signum Growth Capital, Daniel Shribman, Chief Investment Officer of B. Riley Financial,Mickie Rosen, Principal ofMickie Rosen Consulting and Director of multiple companies including Australian Bank, Bank of Queensland and Ascendant Digital Acquisition Corporation, Nick Lewin of Crown Predator Holdings, Paul Hamilton of Atlanta Esports Ventures, Ross Levinsohn of The Arena Group and Zach Katz of Carte Blanche. 

Commenting on the announcement, Lee Trink said: “We have assembled a best-in-class Board of Directors who bring a broad and deep understanding of Gen Z and the rapidly changing digital media and entertainment landscape. I am excited to work with this fantastic group and benefit from their insights and guidance as we enter the public market and execute our multi-platform monetisation strategy to create long-term shareholder value.”
