French B2B services provider to the lottery and betting sectors, FDJ Gaming Solutions, a subsidiary of Groupe FDJ, is to provide DDP, its digital development platform and image analysis to Veikkaus Oy, enabling the Finnish lottery provider to develop their own, independent application for Carrus Gaming’s camera-based Elite-S terminals.
FDJs’ terminal management suite will also enable Veikkaus to operate, monitor and update these terminals. Groupe Carrus specialises in the provision of technology solutions to lottery, horse racing and sports betting operators.
Pascal Blyau, CEO of FDJ Gaming Solutions France commented: “This is the first time we have provided DDP, our open framework that uses web technologies to accelerate terminal application development. Veikkaus Oy developers build an electron-based sales application and concentrate on business logic while DDP takes care of terminal functions, image analysis and embeds native connection to the terminal management suite (TMS). It is also the first time we will deliver TMS as a service from the Cloud.”
Groupe Carrus CEO, Timothée Carrus, added: “This contract is a new success for our Elite range of gaming terminals and a major achievement for the strategic partnership between Carrus Gaming and FDJ Gaming Solutions. It is a new milestone in our joint success story, as we have cooperated for more than 20 years delivering over 330,000 lottery terminals worldwide.”
