The Gaming in Holland Conference, scheduled for June 5th at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam, has announced the addition of several notable speakers to its agenda, promising a comprehensive exploration of the Dutch gambling industry’s current landscape.
Björn Fuchs, newly appointed Chair of VNLOK, and Henry Meijdam, leader of the VAN Kansspelen trade association, will join the speaker roster.
They will share insights alongside industry stalwarts such as Arjan Blok, CEO of Nederlandse Loterij, Renske Fikkers, Head of Market Supervision at the Netherlands Gambling Authority, and investigative journalist Henk Willem Smits from Follow the Money.
Peter-Paul de Goeij, former NOGA Chair, is set to provide an unvarnished critique of the effectiveness of Dutch gambling regulations. Additionally, Rohan Tare from ABN AMRO will address the escalating concern of AI-driven identity fraud, a critical issue for businesses engaged in remote customer interactions.
Willem van Oort, Founder of Gaming in Holland, says: “All key stakeholders and decision makers in the Dutch gambling industry will be represented at our event.
“We have taken the utmost care to ensure that all relevant developments and topics will be addressed.”
The conference will feature breakout sessions and networking opportunities, including an award ceremony for the Dutch Online Casino of the Year Awards, and a traditional boat tour through Amsterdam’s canals.
Preceding the main event, attendees can take part in workshops on Learning Management Systems and Compliance Audits, provided by Chevron Consultants, on June 4th. These sessions aim to enhance participants’ expertise in crucial industry areas. And informal networking drinks at Café Bistro Rijnbar, complete with traditional Dutch snacks, will cap off the pre-conference activities on June 4th.
