Total gaming revenue for March in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania showed huge growth, with New Jersey totalling $382.9m for the month, and Pennsylvania hitting a record $432.5m.

Land-based casinos are still the dominant force, predictably dominated by slots, with casinos contributing $216.6m in New Jersey and $309m in Pennsylvania, although the latter saw strong growth in iGaming, with revenue rising 20.9% to a record $118.1m. Online slots revenue amounted to $79.2m for the month, while online table games revenue reached $35.7m and internet poker revenue $3.2m.

New Jersey’s online gaming revenue rose by 23.7% year-on-year to $140.7m, whilst its sports betting handle reached $1.12bn, up over 30% year-on-year, delivering $66.4m in revenue. Of this, just over $1bn was staked online. Sports betting growth was also considerable in Pennsylvania, with the handle up 27.6% to $715m.
