The National Football League (NFL) has expanded its partnership with Genius Sports, extending their strategic collaboration to enhance fan experiences through official data and video distribution.

This multi-year agreement solidifies Genius Sports’ role in distributing real-time NFL statistics and official sports betting data globally.

Genius Sports will continue as the NFL’s exclusive distributor of play-by-play statistics, Next Gen Stats data and the official sports betting data feed to media companies and sportsbooks worldwide. The agreement also designates Genius Sports as the sole provider of low latency live games for sportsbooks internationally.

Additionally, Genius Sports will represent in-game advertising inventory, leveraging its FANHub platform for further activation opportunities with the NFL.

In 2023, the partnership launched BetVision, the first immersive sports betting streaming solution for NFL games on US mobile devices. In 2024, the EA SPORTS Madden NFL Cast, a first-of-its-kind branded live broadcast experience was added.

GeniusIQ, the advanced sports data and AI platform, will continue to provide cutting-edge solutions across betting, advertising, broadcast and fan engagement. Maintaining game integrity is crucial for the NFL’s betting initiatives, with Genius Sports providing comprehensive integrity services for all games and major events.

Brent Lawton, NFL’s VP of Business Development & Strategic Investments, says: “Across data, video, advertising and integrity services, Genius has proven to be an important strategic partner through the first four seasons of our partnership.

“We are excited to extend and expand our partnership as we continue to partner on innovative ways to deliver content to NFL fans.”

Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports, adds: “Our expanded NFL partnership further strengthens our leading position at the heart of the sports technology ecosystem, and represents a key milestone in our FANHub rollout, setting a new standard for data-driven immersive experiences for NFL fans, broadcasters, teams, sportsbooks, brands and sponsors.”
