Esports and gaming company Gfinity has announced a one-year renewal and expansion of its partnership with the Formula 1 motor racing brand, following a major increase in viewership to a total of 23m viewers across all platforms.

Gfinity will continue to deliver all of the main elements of the F1 Esports Series in 2022, including the Pro Exhibition from F1’s Lenovo British GP and the Pro Championship. The Gfinity Arena in London will remain the main venue for live broadcasts and will host LAN racing events during the season.

As a part of this extension, Gfinity will also provide further services to F1 Esports, including a dedicated account management team and a full league operations team to determine rules and driver responsibilities. Gfinity’s proprietary Race Control adjudication system will also be used in F1 Esports for the upcoming season.
