The South Korean foreigner-only casino operator Grand Korea Leisure has reported its highest monthly casino sales figure in two years, with March 2022 sales rising by 334% month-on-month to KRW29.73bn (US$24.5 million). Figures published with the Korea Exchange on April 4th show that these impressive March numbers were driven by table games, which reported a 409% sequential and 461% year-on-year improvement to KRW27.93bn ($23.0m). Electronic gaming machine sales increased by 33% month-on-month to KRW1.80bn ($1.5m) and table drop was also up 55% in March to KRW127.96bn ($105.4m).
