Midnite, a leading UK sportsbook and casino operator, has partnered with BR-DGE, a payment optimization platform tailored for gaming and sports betting. This collaboration aims to enhance Midnite’s payment systems, ensuring a seamless customer experience with improved pay-in and payout performance.

Prior to this partnership, Midnite managed payments through direct integrations with providers in the UK and Ireland. While effective initially, Midnite’s rapid expansion necessitated a more robust payment strategy that could keep up with its app’s fast-paced and user-friendly experience.

BR-DGE’s expertise in gaming sector payments provides Midnite with a partner that understands the complexities of gaming transactions.

By adopting BR-DGE’s platform, Midnite has been able to quickly integrate TrueLayer’s Pay-By-Bank option and plans to implement additional alternative payment methods. This shift not only supports Midnite’s ambitious growth plans but also prepares the company to enter new markets efficiently, offering a payment setup ready to handle diverse customer needs from the start.

BR-DGE will also facilitate the addition of more PSP connectivity for Midnite. This will enable Midnite to leverage BR-DGE’s smart routing capabilities, optimizing costs, acceptance rates and uptime for both deposits and withdrawals. Furthermore, centralised tokenisation via BR-DGE Vault ensures that stored card data remains portable, preventing disruption to the customer checkout experience.

In addition to these enhancements, Midnite will benefit from BR-DGE’s gaming-specific performance benchmarking and market insights. These insights, derived from extensive data across multiple regulated markets, will provide Midnite with actionable strategies to improve payment journeys, balancing cost, security, acceptance and user experience.

Jacob Spencer, CRO at BR-DGE, says: “Midnite built a strong platform on a single PSP, which worked well domestically but limited how quickly they could add new payment methods or move into new markets.

“Moving to an independent orchestration layer mitigates that technical debt in one step, giving Midnite the scalability they need to match their success and ambitions.”

Christian Huynh, Lead Product Manager at Midnite, adds: “At Midnite, we want every part of the experience to feel built different, and payments are no exception.

“We are focused on creating payment experiences that delight our customers, while building the flexibility to innovate quickly and bring the same great experience to new markets as we grow.”

The inclusion of Midnite in BR-DGE’s portfolio of gaming operators reinforces BR-DGE’s role as a leading payment optimization platform in the gaming industry.
