Paradise Co experienced a notable growth in its casino sales during 2025, nearly reaching a 10% increase. This rise was supported by enhanced revenue from table games and slot machines across its foreigner-only casinos in South Korea, highlighting a rebound in international tourism and consistent interest from overseas markets.

In 2025, Paradise reported total casino sales of KRW900.5bn (US$623.6m), demonstrating a significant rise from KRW819.6bn ($567.2m) in 2024, primarily driven by the popularity of table games. Table game revenue alone reached KRW846.3bn ($585.7m), underscoring its crucial role in the company’s financial success.

While slots contributed less to total sales, they still showed improvement. Slot machine revenue amounted to KRW54.2bn ($37.5m) in 2025, indicating progress from the previous year.

Paradise has consistently emphasised table games as its primary revenue source, noting that slot machine earnings can vary monthly.

December presented mixed results, with a monthly decline yet an annual increase. Casino sales were KRW75.4bn ($52.2m), a 5.4% decrease from November but a 7.6% increase from December 2024. Table game revenue in December was KRW69.8bn ($48.3m), down 7.8% from the prior month but up 5.2% year on year. Slot machines, however, performed strongly, with revenue jumping 40.3% from November and 49.3% compared to the previous year.

Paradise operates four foreigner-only casinos: Walkerhill Casino in Seoul, Paradise City in Incheon, Busan Casino and Jeju Grand. These cater exclusively to international visitors, given South Korean laws prohibiting local residents from gambling at these venues. The geographic distribution of these casinos allows Paradise to capitalise on tourism in major cities and resort areas.

The company’s 2025 performance reflects the recovery of South Korea’s tourism industry post-pandemic. Increased international travel, particularly from Japan and Southeast Asia, bolstered casino volumes. As global travel continues to recover, Paradise Co’s 2025 performance underscores the significance of international tourists to South Korea’s foreigner-only casino market.
