For many affiliates, 2023 will be remembered as a year when ‘No News meant Good News’ for a reason. With Google’s never-ending tweaking of Search and Facebook’s never-ending battle against anything that isn’t a teddy bear ad, affiliates had to stick to a choreographed routine of improvise, adapt and overcome.
Despite it all, the traffic kept its flow and the advertisers kept paying out the hard-earned CPA or RS commissions, but what did we learn from a year when so many approaches and funnels were cracking at the seams, even on a good day?
PIN-UP Partners helps affiliates redistribute traffic and keep the flow of registrations and deposits. Their Affiliate Managers came up with creative ways for affiliates to keep the flow traffic flowing. Some relied on tried and trusted approaches, and some were rather new, including good old-fashioned SMS, PWA, Telegram and emphasis on the iOS audience.
Kateryna Yeromina, Head of Affiliates UA, says: “As affiliates adapted their funnels and businesses to new realities, we looked at the things we’ve learned and realised that the only way to future-proof an affiliate business is continuous diversification and implementation of new traffic sources.
“This way, affiliates can switch between traffic sources and escape reliance on the ever-changing policies over which they have no control. And affiliates have a better chance of keeping traffic flowing with competent support, fluent in all things traffic, and PIN-UP Partners is always ready to provide such expertise.
The same is true for advertisers, in order to learn more about players and acquire more traffic, with a competent team that is competent in everything from negotiation and affiliate management to digital marketing and UX.”
