Global betting platform provider, Playbook Engineering, has appointed Ivo Doroteia as its new CEO.
Doroteia has a wealth of experience in the iGaming industry, working as a CEO at Sportingtech and Betomall before being appointed Chief Strategy Officer at iGaming Platform in May 2022. His appointment will bolster Playbook’s reputation as a major global player within the sportsbook and casino sectors.
Working with tier-one operators and white labels has made it possible for the platform to be reliable, deliver consistent results and be flexible for years, whilst developing features to be compliant and competitive, in line with providing the best user experience in the industry.
Playbook is proven in the UK market, where it has a reputation for supplying tier-one operators with a robust platform, offering highly efficient onboarding and very limited downtime.
The next step for the company is to further promote its UK offering while looking to new jurisdictions, such as Latin America, specifically Brazil, and US markets.

Doroteia is attending the Brazilian iGaming Summit from June 14th to June 18th at the Transamerica Expo Centre in Sao Paulo. Where he will participate in a panel on June 15th discussing the global expectation of the Brazilian iGaming market.
