Following January’s launch of online sports betting across the State, PointsBet has unveiled its mobile and digital sports betting product in New York. This latest PointsBet product, a mobile app, becomes the ninth digital sports wagering service launched by the operator to date, with other ‘live’ US States including Colorado, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Iowa, West Virginia and Virginia.

The New York State Gaming Commission had previously confirmed the first four of nine approved operators approved to commence online sports betting within the State as being Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, FanDuel and Rush Street Interactive. PointsBet is the fifth operator to be fully approved, with Bally’s Corp, BetMGM, Resorts World and Wynn Resorts to follow.

CEO of PointsBet USA, Johnny Aitken, commented: “Launching in New York is a significant milestone for PointsBet, being one of nine approved online sports betting operators in the State. New York’s passionate sports fans and bettors will now have access to the fastest online sports betting product in market, with a live, in-game betting experience that PointsBet controls through our proprietary technology and world-class team that is unrivalled.”
