Thousands of industry professionals gathered in Fort Lauderdale from May 13th to 15th for SBC Summit Americas 2025, a landmark event designed to encourage cross-border exchange and enable rare, synchronized dialogue between leaders from all corners of North, Central and South America.

The concept was introduced last year, as SBC decided to combine the well-established SBC Summit North America and SBC Summit Latinoamérica into a single event, a strategic move to accommodate growing attendance and provide a unified forum for the entire Americas region.

Lee Terfloth, Chief Interactive Officer – Gaming at Delaware North, remarked on the event’s strategic evolution, noting: “This is a much better venue, and it has gotten a lot bigger.

“It is a natural progression to combine these two; we all have so much to learn from each other.”

Held at the Broward County Convention Center, the Summit featured a dynamic show floor with hundreds of exhibitors, including zones for the Affiliate Leaders’ Summit and Payment Expert Summit.

Tony Amormino, CEO at Apache Nugget Corporation, highlighted the extensive networking opportunities, adding: “There are a lot of vendors that I would not normally be able to see.”

The event also included a series of high-profile activities such as the SBC Leaders’ Summit, the SBC Hall of Fame ceremony and the SBC First Pitch Americas startup competition.

Cristian Gomez, Managing Director of Emerging Markets at Betsson, emphasised the event’s unique value for multinational companies, saying, “Here, you can have discussions that are important for someone like me, who serves more than one country.”

A diverse conference programme across five themed rooms featured over 250 industry experts, including keynote speakers such as Lori Kalani from DraftKings and Julie Brown from the Florida Gaming Control Commission.

Rodrigo Cigliutti from CIBELAE praised the event’s focus on critical industry issues, saying: “I was on a panel about regulation and advertising; it was great to see SBC prioritise these critical issues.”

With such strong approval from attendees, the SBC Summit Americas is recognised as an essential event for those aiming to lead in the Americas’ betting and gaming market.

Rasmus Sojmark, Founder & CEO of SBC, concluded: “Connecting Worlds through Gaming was the idea behind SBC Summit Americas, a vision that is also reflected in the event’s tagline.

“Seeing everyone come together in Fort Lauderdale was not only a proud moment for our team, but also a clear signal that the industry is ready for deeper, cross-regional collaboration.”

SBC Summit Americas will return to the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale next year, from June 8th to 10th, 2026. Following a record-breaking 2025 edition, sponsors and exhibitors are invited to secure their spaces early.
