Organisers and hosts ‘par excellence’ have announced details of their biggest ever conference and exhibition, SBC Summit Barcelona 2022.
Scheduled for September 20th to 22nd, at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc, this unrivalled event will turn the venue into the centre of the international betting and gaming industry, gathering leading experts and decision-makers from around the world.
In short, SBC Summit Barcelona will host no fewer than 6,000 delegates, 200 exhibitors, 350 speakers and seven conference stages, and provide the best networking and event experience.
SBC has divided the exhibition floor and networking lounges into five main zones: the Sports Betting Zone, the Casino & iGaming Zone, the Payments & Compliance Zone, the Affiliate, Marketing & Media Zone and the Emerging Tech, Blockchain & Metaverse Zone. In addition to these five primary zones, the exhibition floor will also have a separate Innovation, Technology & Start-up Zone, as part of SBC’s commitment to assisting start-ups in their growth and development plans.
Moreover, there will be a zone dedicated to the ever-important topic of Player Protection, featuring heated discussions and exhibitors who have made it their mission to mitigate problem gambling.
But this year’s Barcelona Summit is not just about the exhibition and networking floor. The event will see one of the strongest speaker line-ups witnessed, with names such as Molly Bloom, Shay Segev (DAZN), Johan Tjärnberg (Trustly), Jesper Svensson (Betsson), Paris Smith (Pinnacle Sports), Sam Sadi (LiveScore), Christine Lewis (Bombay Group), Niels Onkenhout (Nederlandse Loterij), Jose Duarte (Betcris), Gabriele Greisbacher (Entain) and Alexander Stevendahl (Videoslots) among the 350 participating specialists.
There will be seven conference stages, including a C-level Leadership Stage and the Emerging Tech, Blockchain & Metaverse Stage. The Player Protection Stage will focus the discussion on responsible gambling, regulatory updates and affordability checks and host the live version of Martin Lycka of Entain’s ‘Safe Bet Show’
