SOFTSWISS has reported strong results from its Anti-Fraud team for 2025, highlighting its ongoing commitment to help operators create a more secure operating environment.
From January through August 2025, the SOFTSWISS Anti-Fraud team prevented over €15m in fraudulent transactions, closed more than 56,000 tasks and processed 70 player complaints submitted to gaming regulators and forums.
While fraudulent behaviour patterns are largely similar to those seen in previous years, a new trend has emerged involving AI. According to the SumSub Identity Fraud Report 2024/25, the use of AI-generated deepfakes to bypass verification has become a growing challenge.
SOFTSWISS is strengthening its internal tools and processes to address this emerging threat.
Ilya Nesterov, Anti-Fraud Team Lead at SOFTSWISS, says: “This year, our team not only safeguarded €15m for our clients but also handled tens of thousands of cases with precision and responsibility.
“Fraud tactics are evolving, but so are our secure data protection practices. For operators, this means a safer, more transparent environment to build trust and long-term success.”
