SPRIBE has extended the intellectual property protection covering Aviator into Kenya, adding registered rights over the game’s logo in a market where the title has been available to players for five years.

The iconic logo of SPRIBE’s world-famous crash game, Aviator, is officially registered under the WIPO Madrid System and protection in Kenya is effective retroactively from October 11th, 2024. This registration reinforces and is an add-on to SPRIBE’s IP rights, and solidifies the brand presence of Aviator, which launched in the Kenyan market in 2021.

The Madrid System, administered by the World Intellectual Property Organisation, allows a rights holder to extend trademark protection into member territories through a single international application rather than filing separately in each one.

Giorgi Tsutskiridze, CCO at SPRIBE,says: “Kenyan players were among the earliest to take Aviator to their hearts, and the game has been part of this market for five years now. “Registering the logo gives us firmer ground to stand on whenever imitations turn up, and it gives the licensed operators we work with the confidence that what they are putting in front of their players is the real deal.”
