Former footballer and now celebrated Hollywood actor, Vinnie Jones, predictably made his considerable presence felt, as he visited ICE to promote the new game release from Swintt, The Crown, in which he plays a prominent role.

“The game is basically me getting a crew of lads and we’re gonna go and rob the crown jewels… and anything else in our way at the time,” Vinnie summarised.

Since losing his wife of 27 years back in 2019, Vinnie Jones has become a tireless campaigner for both heart patients and men’s mental health. Wife Tanya had heart transplant at Harefield Hospital when she was just 21, and as Vinnie explained, “We’ve done a deal where Swintt will give a portion of the money that they receive to Harefield hospital, where my Tanya had a heart transplant back in 1987. It’s very important for us to do that. So, not only will it give the lads out there or women a lot of joy. It will also help a really good cause.”

Vinnie was first approached about The Crown through his relationship with the betting tips platform easyodds.com: “It’s been great,” he says. “You go into the recording studio and smash it out and for every scenario together, and they do that with the graphics and away we go.”
