Yggdrasil has strengthened its position in Italy’s regulated online gaming market through a new partnership with Codere Italia, extending the supplier’s distribution with one of the market’s notable operator brands.
Codere Italia players will gain access to a selection of Yggdrasil titles, including Easter Island, Golden Fish Tank and Arthur’s Fortune, as the operator looks to enhance its online casino offer with a broader mix of established content.
Games from Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme will also be made available as part of the rollout.
The expansion has been enabled through Yggdrasil’s integration with Microgame, which continues to provide an efficient route into the Italian market for content suppliers seeking local operator partnerships.
Giovanni Foderá, Client Success Manager for the Italian market at Yggdrasil, said the agreement marked an important step for the company in Italy and said the Microgame integration created a strong fit for both businesses.
Roberto Russo, Online Gaming Operations Director at Codere Italia, added that Yggdrasil’s reputation for high quality and engaging content makes it a natural partner as Codere builds out its Italian online casino presence.
