Faithful to its commitment to the environment, social responsibility and sustainability, Zitro has taken further measures to further reduce the impact of its carbon footprint, implementing an internal action plan that in the past year, has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions from energy consumption in software by 80%.

In addition, the company has opted for collaboration with suppliers committed to the use of environmentally friendly materials in their manufacturing. Committed to improving day by day, the company has again updated its carbon footprint calculation, analysing the stages of its production life cycle from the acquisition of raw materials, through manufacturing, transportation, use and waste management.

Aware of the importance of the current global climate crisis, Johnny Ortiz Viveiros, founder of Zitro, says: “As a company we have a corporate social responsibility and at Zitro we always try to be one step ahead. Implementing policies that help protect the environment is part of our company philosophy, so we are committed to sustainable sourcing and prioritise suppliers that engage with emissions-improvement efforts. We encourage other companies to join new initiatives that promote the sustainable development of their business. Together we can offset our footprint and make a positive difference.”
