The American Football League Europe (AFLE) has partnered with SCCG Management to enhance gaming and fan engagement as the league launches its inaugural season this coming May.

This strategic collaboration will see SCCG Management’s Founder & CEO Stephen Crystal appointed as Senior Vice President Gaming, leading gaming-related business development and partnerships.

The partnership aims to develop a comprehensive gaming and sports betting strategy for the AFLE. This includes establishing official betting partnerships, affiliate programs and sponsorship-driven revenue opportunities to strengthen fan engagement and support the league’s commercial growth across its eight member clubs.

SCCG Management operates in numerous regions including North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. The firm specialises in strategic growth, sports wagering and technology-driven fan experiences, working with more than 130 client-partners in various iGaming verticals.

In his new role, Crystal will focus on securing relationships with sportsbooks, gaming operators, affiliate networks and betting media partners. He will ensure these partnerships align with regulatory frameworks across European markets.

The AFLE, comprising franchises in the UK, Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, France and Italy, is a modern professional American football league emphasising sustainability and team-driven competition. With a focus on scalability and international fan engagement, the league is backed by investors and guided by principles of transparency and professional governance.

Stephen Crystal says: “This is a rare opportunity to help build a professional sports league with gaming and fan engagement fully integrated into its foundation.

“The AFLE has the structure, vision and market timing to become a major force in international sports.”

Moritz Heisler, COO & Managing Director of the AFLE, adds: “Partnering with SCCG Management is a significant step in building the commercial infrastructure of the AFLE from day one.”

With the inaugural AFLE season fast approaching, this partnership is crucial in laying the foundation for a gaming ecosystem designed to grow with the league, offering lasting value to fans, clubs and partners across Europe.
