The UK Gambling Commission has announced former CEO of the British Horseracing Authority, Nick Rust, the first Chair of its recently created Industry Forum.
The Forum will comprise members of Britain’s gambling sector, with the aim of enabling a direct channel of communications from operators in the UK to the Commission.
Nick Rust is currently Chair of the Starting Price Regulatory Commission, a Non-Executive Director of Redcar Racecourse and a Founding Partner and Director of equestrian and gaming consultants, GVS EQ.
Marcus Boyle, Chair of the UK Gambling Commission, says: “I am delighted that Nick has been appointed as the inaugural Chair of the Commission’s Industry Forum.
“Nick’s extensive knowledge of the gambling sector makes him a valuable asset, and I am confident he will work with us to create a productive and insightful Industry Forum.”
