SBC Awards Europe has announced its finalists for 2025, spotlighting the innovators reshaping Europe’s betting and gaming landscape.
The event is part of the broader SBC Summit Malta, and is scheduled for June 12th at the Hilton Malta, with the ceremony will host 300 industry professionals.
This year’s awards span 34 categories, celebrating achievements across operators, affiliates, game developers and suppliers.
Betsson Group leads with seven nominations, followed by Campeon Gaming with five.
The event marks SBC’s first awards solely for the European market, with a record number of entries heightening competition for the independent judges. Innovation in game development remains a focus, with five specific Game Developer Awards.
EveryMatrix aims to retain its Game Aggregator of the Year title, while Game of the Year will be determined by public vote.
Multiple nominations were also secured by Bragg Gaming, Light & Wonder and others.
The ceremony will also feature the SlotCatalog Awards. Play’n GO and Fortune Factory Studios seek to defend their titles in the large and small game studio categories, respectively. Meanwhile, Push Gaming and Wazdan vie for the medium studio accolade.
Affiliation categories highlight contenders like Blue Window and Gambling.com Group, while the Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year includes nominees such as BetBlocker and Mindway AI.
Operator categories see Novibet with four nominations and Mate Affiliates competing for three awards. In payments and compliance, PAYSTRAX faces rivals such as BetComply and Trustly for major honours.
Sportradar and EveryMatrix each appear in four supplier categories, indicating potential for significant wins. Emerging talent will also be recognised with Rising Star awards.
