The SBC Regulators Forum 2026, part of the SBC Summit Tbilisi, is set to significantly expand, doubling its scale to involve more regulatory bodies from the CEE, Balkans and Central Asia.
Scheduled for July 15th & 16th, the event aims to enhance regional cooperation and address pressing challenges in the gaming industry.
This year, the Summit expects 2,500 delegates and over 60 speakers, focusing on actionable outcomes rather than just high-level discussions.
The agenda is designed to tackle the sophistication of the black market, emphasising collaboration among regulators, financial institutions and Big Tech to disrupt illegal digital activities. Attendees will engage in workshops to create a National Disruption Playbook, a strategic plan to detect and dismantle illicit operations through coordinated, multi-agency efforts.
In addition to enforcement strategies, the forum aims to bolster market integrity through improved data-sharing mechanisms. Sessions will facilitate knowledge exchange between the private sector and law enforcement to combat fraud more effectively.
Looking toward the future, discussions will explore the regulatory perspective on upcoming developments in the industry.
Andrew McCarron, Managing Director at SBC, says: “We aren’t just discussing the rules; we are facilitating the creation of the tools to enforce them fairly.
“By doubling the regulatory presence, we are ensuring that the 2,500 delegates in attendance have a direct line to the people shaping the future of the CEE and Central Asian markets.”
Lasha Machavariani, CEO of SMH, adds: “Tbilisi is now the diplomatic centre of the regional gaming industry. This Summit provides the essential ‘local pulse’ that global operators need to navigate the transition from traditional frameworks to the modern, tech-driven regulations of tomorrow.”
The SBC Regulators Forum continues to serve as a pivotal platform for those at the intersection of policy and gaming. As the region aligns more closely with European standards, the 2026 event stands as a critical gateway for stakeholders aiming to establish a presence in one of the world’s most dynamic gaming markets.
