SCCG Management, a prominent advisory firm in gaming and sports betting, has appointed Michael Silberling as its new Chairman.

With an impressive career spanning over 25 years, Silberling will guide SCCG’s leadership team in global expansion and strategic development within the gaming and entertainment industry.

Silberling’s extensive experience in the gaming sector includes his recent role as CEO of Metropolitan Gaming, where he focused on optimizing portfolios and rebranding efforts. Under his leadership, Metropolitan Gaming divested from Emerald Resort & Casino to concentrate on key markets like the UK and Egypt. This strategic move, completed with a consortium led by Tsogo Sun, highlighted Silberling’s expertise in capital management and value creation.

His career commenced in Nevada’s casino management, eventually leading to significant roles at Caesars Entertainment. As President of International Operations, Silberling managed casinos across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He played a vital role in launching new properties in Cairo, Glasgow and Leeds, further solidifying his reputation in the industry.

Prior to joining SCCG, Silberling served as CEO of Affinity Gaming in Las Vegas and COO of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. His leadership was instrumental in overseeing properties like Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, as well as international ventures in Canada.

Stephen Crystal, Founder & CEO of SCCG Management, says: “Michael is a highly respected global leader whose experience across international gaming markets, operations and strategic transactions makes him an exceptional addition to SCCG.”

As Chairman, he will work closely with SCCG’s leadership and partners, offering insights on market expansion, mergers and emerging opportunities in gaming jurisdictions.

Originally from Palo Alto, California, Silberling now resides in London and holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. His appointment underscores SCCG Management’s commitment to leveraging expertise and global perspectives, enhancing its advisory services and industry partnerships.
