Sports Information Services (SIS), leading multi-content supplier of 24/7 live betting services, is expanding its racing offering by integrating premier horse races from Malaysia, with fixed-odds wagering available to complement the live content.

The deal with Singapore Pools, holder of the international simulcast rights from Selangor and Perak Turf Clubs, provides SIS with an additional 738 races annually from Selangor and Perak. Group 1 contests include the Selangor Gold Cup and the Perak Coronation Cup, with the content serving as a key addition to the provider’s output.

The launch of top-class action from a highly-regarded territory brings increased wagering opportunities for audiences all over the world, delivered by SIS as an end-to-end solution with data, live pictures and pricing. Fixed-odds wagering will be available to bettors for all 738 contests.

SIS’ Trading team are pricing the content in fixed-odds guided by local Tote odds, a consistent process used by SIS traders in other countries across Asia and the US to generate robust pricing.

The introduction of fixed-odds wagering will maximise engagement and bring familiarity to bettors looking to engage with Malaysian racing, with the format already popular across many jurisdictions.

Conall McSorley, Head of Racing at SIS, says: “The Asian market is very important to SIS, and horse racing from Malaysia has consistently delivered in quality.

“By enhancing our live racing portfolio with action from Selangor and Perak along with presenting fixed-odds wagering opportunities, we firmly believe the comprehensive offering will be positively received across the globe.”

Simon Leong, CPO at Singapore Pools, adds: “We look forward to this partnership and bringing quality races from Malaysia to a wider audience.

“Together, we are delighted to enhance our cooperation with SIS to delivering top-quality international racing content and contributing to the growth of the sport.”
