Hard Rock International is set to launch its first hotel in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through a partnership with db Group and RAK Hospitality Holding.
Located in Ras Al Khaimah’s beach district, the project will introduce a mixed-use property, expanding Hard Rock’s global footprint.
The property will feature 300 rooms and 395 branded residences. It will also boast a variety of dining options, including waterfront restaurants and a rooftop bar. Additional amenities include an event centre, conference facilities, spa and fitness centre, beach club and multiple swimming pools.
The venture is expected to create approximately 500 permanent jobs, providing a significant economic boost to the area.
Todd Hricko, Hard Rock International’s VP & Head of Global Hotel Development, emphasized the potential of the development to attract global travellers to a region rich in history and natural beauty.
Silvio Debono, Chair of db Group, expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, marking his company’s first major project outside Malta and highlighting the synergy between his team’s hospitality expertise and Hard Rock’s unique brand spirit, aiming to deliver a distinctive lifestyle experience in Ras Al Khaimah.
Alison Grinnel, CEO of RAK Hospitality Holding, committed to using her team’s regional knowledge to drive growth in Ras Al Khaimah, which is evolving into a dynamic hub for tourism, leisure and entertainment.
While the announcement does not include plans for a casino, the potential remains as UAE lawmakers have shown interest in exploring gaming opportunities.
