Cirsa has expanded its footprint in Peru by acquiring four casinos from Dreams for $18m, marking its first acquisition since its Spanish Stock Exchange debut, and further solidifying its position as the second-largest gaming operator in Peru.

The acquisition was disclosed by Dreams in a filing to the Chilean Financial Market Commission (CMF). The transaction involves the transfer of 100% of the shares of the companies operating these casinos. This strategic expansion is significant as Peru is a key market for Cirsa, contributing 9.8% to the company’s EBITDA in the first half of 2025, ranking behind only Spain and Panama.

Cirsa’s growth in Peru follows its 2024 purchase of Apuesta Total, a major player in sports betting and online gaming. Apuesta Total has an extensive land-based network, which complements Cirsa’s existing operations in the region.

In the first half of 2025, Cirsa reported an EBITDA of €365m, reflecting an 8.9% increase year-on-year. Revenues also saw a boost, reaching €1.155bn, a 12% rise. The group, led by Joaquim Agut, is focused on strengthening its growth strategy across Latin America, with Peru being a pivotal component.

This latest acquisition not only enhances its operational scale but also positions the company to capitalise on Peru’s growing gaming market.
