Wynn Macau has confirmed that Craig Billings will take over as the company’s CEO in early 2022, replacing Matt Maddox. In addition, Billings will also become overall CEO of Wynn Resorts. Following a 20-year career with the company, Maddox is also leaving his roles as Chairman of the Board of Directors but will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director until December 2022, before departing “to pursue new career opportunities.”
Prior to this appointment, Craig Billings served as President and CFO of Wynn Resorts. He joined as CFO in March 2017 and has been a Board member since August 2018. Before joining Wynn, he held executive and Board positions with Aristocrat Leisure, NYX Gaming, IGT and Goldman Sachs.
“Subject to the completion of certain Macau regulatory procedures, Mr Billings will become the Chairman of the Board of Directors of WRM,” read the statement from Wynn Macau.
