SBC Summit Americas has strengthened its focus on responsible gambling by embedding the Player Protection Symposium, previously a standalone event, into its main conference agenda. This integration ensures that all delegates have access to critical discussions and insights on player safety.
Scheduled for May 14, in the Palm Room (Level 2) at the Broward County Convention Center, the Symposium will host a series of panels and networking opportunities, providing a dedicated platform for operators, regulators, compliance experts and technology providers to collaborate on strategies for player protection.
Rasmus Sojmark, SBC Founder & CEO, emphasised the importance of this initiative, saying: “Player safety is no longer a side conversation; it should be a central focus for every company in our industry.
“By making the Player Protection Symposium part of the main agenda, we are opening these discussions to a broader audience and fostering greater learning and collaboration.”
With the Summit now uniting North and Latin American stakeholders, this new track offers unprecedented opportunities for Latin American participants to engage deeply with player protection topics. While the SBC Summit Latinoamérica has addressed these issues in individual panels, the 2025 event marks the first full track dedicated to this subject, promoting cross-regional knowledge sharing.
The Symposium will feature seven panels, addressing various issues such as affordability and risk checks, the role of technology in harm detection and collaboration between operators and regulators.
Notable topics include financial risk checks in the North American market and responsible gambling strategies for commercial success across LatAm and North America.
Beyond the Symposium, attendees can explore additional insights into the LatAm and North American markets through tracks like the Payment Expert Summit and sessions on emerging regulations.
